Closed-Loop Spray Dryer

The closed-loop spray dryer is specially designed for organic solvents. The device adopts an inert gas medium formed by circulating nitrogen to replace the usual air medium for spray drying. In addition to product recovery, it can also recover organic solvents. The closed cycle spray system is designed according to the characteristics of organic solvents: they have a low flash point, slight toxicity, and are flammable and explosive.

Application: Non-oxidizing ceramics, superhard alloys, battery materials. Seasoning, healthy food. Pharmaceuticals, vitamins, organic medicines. Synthetic resin, wax, etc.

The Features of each part of the closed-loop spray dryer:

The closed-loop spray dryer comprises a feeding system, heating system, atomization system, spray drying system, inert gas circulation system, product recovery system, and condensation system.

1. Feeding system: Including proportioning tank, solvent tank, material conveying peristaltic pump, material conveying pipeline, and atomizer. First, put the configured slurry into the proportioning tank. After mixing evenly, the slurry will arrive at the atomizer through the pipeline valve under the drive of the peristaltic pump. The atomizer is a unique explosion-proof atomizer made by us.

2. Heating system: The heating system is composed of nitrogen electric heating system. The closed heating element directly heats the pipeline's dry medium (nitrogen) and controls the temperature accuracy within ± two ℃ through a set of pressure-regulating control devices.

3. The drying tower includes a tower body, explosion-proof lamp, gas distributor, temperature control equipment, pressure relief device, air inlet pipeline, air outlet pipeline, oxygen content measurement sensor, and other components. The air inlet pipeline needs to be equipped with a filter device; Under the heating effect of hot air, the atomized slurry volatilizes and dries into a powder outlet at the bottom, and the gas is discharged from the exhaust pipe for closed circulation.

4. Product recovery system: The gas discharged from the bottom of the drying tower contains powder and organic solvent vapor, which are recycled by a filtering device to separate the powder and organic solvent gas. The powder is recycled, and the organic gas enters the condenser for recycling.

5. Gas circulation system: A set of circulating fans completes the gas circulation system. The drying medium is output from the circulating fan, flows through the condensing device, electric heater, drying tower, cyclone separator or bag filter, and temperature-resistant filter, and then returns to the circulating fan for reuse, forming a gas circulation system.

6. Condensation system: The condensing system consists of a refrigerating unit, a condenser, a refrigerant circulating pump, a filter, a heat exchanger, and connecting pipes. The "wet" gas (including the evaporated organic solvent steam) discharged from the dust remover enters the condenser. The organic solvent steam is automatically released into the solvent tank through the liquid level controller at the bottom of the condenser after condensation and recovery. The gas returns to the gas circulation system after cooling and liquid removal by the condenser.

7. Atomization system: The system adopts hard contact of mechanical structure, without sealing gasket and leakage. Unlike the standard electric centrifugal nozzle, the overheated corrosive steam contacts the wires of the electric nozzle for a long time, which corrupts the cables, causing the plastic coating on the wire surface to be eroded, softened, and peeled off, thus forming a short circuit.

Compared with other closed-loop spray dryers, our products have the following features:

1. The system adopts hard contact of mechanical structure without sealing gasket and leakage. We have adopted a special nozzle, and even after prolonged use, there is still no short circuit.

2. It can achieve ultra-fine powder in the range of 1-8 microns, which is suitable for the special preparation of battery materials.

3. It can prevent oxidation, avoid danger and improve quality;

4. It is easy to realize sterility and dust-free.

5. The solvent in the feed liquid can be recovered.

1. 7-inch touch screen, Chinese and English operation interface.
2. Color touchscreen display: air inlet temperature/air outlet temperature/peristaltic pump speed (control material flow)/oxygen concentration.
3. The spray head is concentric. During atomization, ensure that no eccentricity causes the spray to one side of the bottle wall. The spray head can move up and down after installation to facilitate the adjustment of the atomization position and improve the drying effect of the spray;
4. The system is closed, and the oxygen concentration is monitored online. Once the oxygen concentration in the system is lower than 90%, the system will automatically alarm.

5. Nozzle diameter: 0.5mm,0.75mm,1.0mm,1.5mm, and 2mm optional, standard configuration 1.0, customized according to customer requirements, applicable to various materials and different requirements for powder spraying particle diameter.
6. Inlet air temperature control: 60 ℃~ 250 ℃
7. Timely adjust and control PID constant temperature control technology, heating, and temperature control accuracy: ± one ℃
8. Nitrogen-containing circulating system and solvent online recovery system
9. Optional low-temperature cooling circulating pump for low boiling point organic solution
