How to care for a CO2 Incubator?

How to care for a CO2 Incubator after purchasing? Let's talk about it.

How to care for a CO2 Incubator?

1. The machine should be installed in a room without solid electromagnetic fields and radiant energy, and the surrounding temperature difference should change slightly.
The recommended environmental temperature is 15-25 ℃ to ensure the temperature control accuracy of the carbon dioxide incubator.
Sometimes if the environmental temperature is too high or too low, an air-conditional is better to be added to make the machine work well.

2. If we had chosen the water jacket CO2 incubator, we should remember the following:
Do not turn on the power switch of the water-jacket-type CO2 incubator filled with water. Otherwise, the heating element will be damaged. The added water must be distilled or non-ionic to prevent the accumulation of minerals in the tank from causing corrosion. We must change the water once a year, and the adequacy of the water in the CO2 incubator must be regularly checked. It is recommended to check every quarter.

3. The CO2 incubator can be used as a high-precision thermostatic incubator. At this time, we must turn off the CO2 control system.

4. Because the CO2 sensor is calibrated at saturated humidity, the humidification tray must always be filled with sterile water.

5. Due to the long-term simulation of a humid and hot environment, the bacteria can quickly grow inside the CO2 incubator, so it is recommended to sterilize the inner air with UV light from time to time.

6. When the displayed temperature exceeds the set temperature by 1 ℃, the overtemperature alarm indicator (OverTemp) lights up and emits a sharp alarm sound. At this time, the power should be turned off for 30 minutes; If the power supply (temperature control) switch is turned on again and still overheats, turn off the power supply and report to the maintenance person.

7. When the CO2 cylinder pressure is lower than 0.2MPa, change the cylinder.

8. Minimize the time it takes to open the glass door.

9. If the carbon dioxide incubator is not used for a long time, it is necessary to remove moisture from the working chamber before closing and open the glass door for ventilation 24 hours before closing.

10. When cleaning the working chamber of the CO2 incubator, do not collide with components such as sensors and mixing motor wind wheels.

11. When disassembling and assembling the support shield in the workshop, a special wrench attached must be used, do not use excessive force.

12. The water inside the incubator must be drained before handling it. When draining water, tightly wrap the rubber tube over the water outlet, lower the nozzle than the instrument, gently take a sip, and drop the water pipe. The water will siphon out.

13. Before handling the CO2 incubator, remove the shelf and humidification tray in the workshop to prevent collision and damage to the glass door.

14. When handling the incubator, do not invert it, and do not lift the door to avoid damage.
