Oxygen Indicator

Application of the Oxygen Indicator:
Generally work together with deoxidizer to detect the oxygen concentration in closed containers (or packaging bags). It is widely used in electronic products, optical components, metal products packaging and other places where oxygen concentration needs to be detected.It is also used in testing oxygen content in anaerobic experiments.
For anaerobic experiments,it is strongly recommended to use this oxygen indicator test paper because it can avoid the damage of the electronic oxygen tester in the complicated anaerobic environment and the test accuracy of paper is higher.

Product Theory of Oxygen Indicator:

The oxygen indicator intuitively judges the presence (oxygen concentration is more than 0.5%) or absence (oxygen concentration is less than 0.1%) of oxygen in the closed container based on the change of hue, it can fully replace the complex electric oxygen detector and is convenient to use and reliable in performance. The oxygen indicator can be used together with the deoxidizer to judge whether the deoxidization storage is effective. Oxygen indicator is used for oxygen free management, which can detect whether the vacuum container leaks and the approximate range of oxygen concentration in the nitrogen filled packaging container. In addition, oxygen indicators can also be applied in medical field, such as the cultivation of anaerobic bacteria.

Product Feature of our Oxygen Indicator:

1.Reversibility of color change:
The color of the oxygen indicator can change reversibly from blue to red and from red to blue for many times according to the content of the container.
2.Quick response.
It is tested that if the oxygen indicator works together with deoxidizer, it will turn red within 5 minutes after the oxygen concentration drops to 0.1%,when taken out and exposed to the outside, the oxygen indicator turns blue within 10 minutes. (at 25 ℃)

How to use the Oxygen Indicator:

1.When we got the new oxygen indicator,it is unpacked and it is red,packed together with deoxidizer,the red oxygen indicator in the oxygen free state will turn blue within 10 minutes after it is taken out of the outer packaging bag. After unpacking the outer packing bag, take out the required oxygen indicator, and the remaining part shall be deoxidized and sealed with deoxidizer immediately.
2.When sealing things with deoxidizer, the deoxidizer, oxygen indicator and sealed articles can be sealed in the container at the same time.
3.The oxygen indicator can not be eaten.If eaten by mistake,it is non-toxic and does no harm to human body,but it is not recommended for food use.
4.The working temperature of the oxygen indicator is 2～40℃,and relative humidity RH30%～100%，please avoid direct sunshine.Please keep the oxygen indicator in the temperature of (2～10℃）and avoid light.
5.The oxygen indicator can be used to test the anaerobic state and it is not suitable for occasions that generates gas and heat.

Suggestions to using the Oxygen Indicator:

1.Please confirm that the oxygen indicator is red color when unpacked and packed together with deoxidizer.
2.Try to avoid direct sunlight.
3.It is recommended that all the oxygen indicators are manager by a specially assigned person,try to avoid exposing all the oxygen indicator papers in the air.
4.The oxygen indicator will slowly lose effect after a long term exposure to the air or hot temperature environment.If the oxygen indicator paper turns color so slowly,the user will have to change for a new one.
5.It is recommended that each oxygen indicator work for no more than 2 hours,the rest of the oxygen indicator should be kept in anaerobic state and avoid light.
6.It is recommended to split into small packages and packed with deaerator when unpacked.
7.The water activity of the oxygen indicator in the use environment is suitable to be 0.6 ~ 0.9.
8.In the presence of high concentration of carbon dioxide or alcohol, as well as in the case of high humidity and low humidity, the discoloration ability of the oxygen indicator will be reduced. Please try to avoid it.
9.Try to avoid oil cause the oxygen indicator has no oil resistance.
