Dual-Purpose Centrifugal Spray Dryer
This dual-purpose centrifugal spray dryer is a dual-purpose centrifugal and airflow spray dryer. When the experiment requires powder, the airflow dryer is used, which is not easy to be damaged; When the experiment requires more uniform powder or particles, we can switch to the centrifugal atomization system for spray drying. This dual-purpose centrifugal spray dryer is more suitable for laboratories with relatively small space, significantly saving the use of space. We can also select this spray dryer in case of high sample value and repeated experiments. After the relevant results are obtained from the experiment, we can choose a specific dryer for batch production.
The working principle of the dual-purpose centrifugal spray dryer:
This spray dryer comprises eight systems: feed system, atomization system, drying tower, material recovery system, tail gas treatment system, heating system, pipeline system, and control system.

When the dual-purpose spray dryer is switched to the airflow working state, the airflow atomizer uses the airflow to split the liquid film. We use compressed air for airflow. The flow rate of the feed liquid is shallow. When the compressed air is ejected from the atomizer at a high angular velocity, there is a significant speed difference between the two, causing friction and shear between the gas and liquid. The liquid is pulled into long and thin filaments in a moment, and these filaments break quickly at the finer points to form tiny droplets. We can also switch the centrifugal spray dryer to the centrifugal spray state according to the experiment's needs: it mainly uses the rotating force of the rotary atomizer to throw out the droplets, which are also dried by hot air to become powder or particles.
The powder particles produced by the centrifugal dryer are more uniform. When drying food for powder, we can retain the original color, smell, and taste; but the service life is shorter than that of the pneumatic dryer. Therefore, the experimenter can switch the working state according to the different needs of the experiment, greatly extending the service life of this dual-use centrifugal spray dryer.
