UV Aging Test Chamber with Heating and Spraying

UV Aging Test Chamber with Heating and Spraying

This UV Aging Test Chamber with heating and spraying is applied for non-metallic and organic materials (such as coatings, paints, rubber, and plastics). It can stimulate a natural light environment with the temperature rising and rainy climate to test the aging speed of the samples.

Product Feature of the UV Aging Test Chamber with Heating and Spraying:

This product can stimulate the natural environment with three pieces of equipment:
1. 8 UV lights to simulate natural sunlight.(UVA 315-400nm,UVB 280-315nm)
2. 2. With a heating function to stimulate a real high-temperature environment.
3. Spray system to stimulate actual rainy weather.

Product Theory of the UV Aging Test Chamber with Heating and Spraying

UV Aging test is the equipment that simulates light. It mainly affects ultraviolet light in sunlight. At the same time, it can also reproduce the damage caused by rain and dew. The temperature of the material to be tested is increased by exposing the equipment to the sun interactively. The equipment adopts an ultraviolet fluorescent lamp to simulate sunlight and can also act the influence of moisture by condensation or spraying. The device can reproduce the damage caused by months or years outdoors in just a few days or weeks. The damage mainly includes fading, discoloration, brightness decline, pulverization, cracking, blurring, embrittlement, strength decline, and oxidation. The test data provided by the equipment is of great help in the selection of new materials, the improvement of existing materials, or the evaluation of composition changes affecting the durability of products. The device is an excellent predictor of the changes the product will encounter outdoors. Although ultraviolet light (UV) accounts for only 5% of sunlight, it is the primary light factor that reduces the durability of outdoor products. This is because the photochemical effect of the sun increases with the decrease in wavelength. Therefore, it is optional to reproduce the whole sunlight spectrum when simulating the destructive impact of sunlight on the physical properties of materials. In most cases, you only need to simulate the UV light of a short wave. Using a fluorescent UV lamp to simulate the influence of sunlight on physical properties, such as brightness decline, cracking, peeling, and so on, is the best method. Since outdoor exposure to humidity can last up to 12 hours a day, the humidity cycle of the UV accelerated weathering tester generally lasts for several hours. We recommend that each condensation cycle last at least 4 hours. Note that UV exposure and condensation in the equipment are carried out separately.
